Glass is an extremely minimalist photo community platform that spurs and encourages my creativity a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, comparisons to Instagram in its early days immediately come to mind. And perhaps that&#8217;s why the platform is so interesting to me. The platform focuses exclusively on photos. No videos, no shorts, no reels, no other Tik Tok like features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can follow people, you can like and comment on their photos. That`s it. Very simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And let<code>s face it. That<\/code>s all it takes when it comes to pictures. Photos can be art. When someone sees himself as a photographer, he wants to appeal to the aesthetic self in you. Tik Tok, Instram &amp; Co. are entertainment. But that&#8217;s not what Glass is about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, it costs money, and at \u20ac4.99 a month, it&#8217;s not cheap either. But it&#8217;s worth it to me to get an ad-free, purely art-oriented photo community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It remains to be seen that it is worth it for the creators and that this minimalist concept can be maintained for a long time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have discovered Glass for myself.
